Prawns with drumstick leaves
The Prawns with drumstick leaves is a simple and comforting seafood curry that is made using authentic ground spices. The masala is made right from scratch and stewed along with fresh prawns and drumsticks leaves, You can serve this delicious recipe with hot rice, roti, chapatti .
Ingredients
- For Making Prawns with drumstick leaves :
- Prawns(small) – 250 grams.
- Drumstick leaves – 1 cup.
- Turmeric powder – 1/4 tea spoon.
- Ginger garlic paste – 1 tea spoon.
- Chilli powder – 1 tea spoon.
- Salt – to taste.
- Coriander powder – 1/2 tea spoon.
- Garam masala – 1/2 tea spoon.
- Oil – to fry.
- Tamarind juice – 1 tea spoon.
Instructions
- For Making Prawns with drumstick leaves :
- In a bowl, put in the small variety of prawns, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt and mix all the ingredients well and marinate for some time.
- In a pan, add little oil and add the leaves of drumstick in hot oil and fry.
- Cook the leaves till they are nice and crispy.
- Remove from pan and keep aside. Add the marinated shrimp or prawns in the hot oil.
- salt well and cook for 2 -3 minutes.
- When they slightly were done, add in the fried drumsticks leaves and mix well.
- Add 1 teaspoon of tamarind juice.
- Mix and cover the pan with a lid and simmer for 1 minute and then switch off the flame.
- Serve hot with rice, roti, chapatti .
