Moringa powder puri

Moringa powder puri is a simple and comforting Puri that is made using Moringa powder . You can serve this delicious recipe with dahi or any of your favourite sabji . 

Moringa has many important vitamins and minerals. The leaves have 7 times more vitamin C than oranges and 15 times more potassium than bananas. It also has calcium, protein, iron, and amino acids, which help your body heal and build muscle.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp Moringa powder
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Carom seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1 Green chilli
  • 1 tsp Crushed ginger
  • 2 tbsp Clarified butter
  • as required Oil for frying
  • to taste Salt
 

Instructions   

  1. Take a large bowl add all-purpose flour,wheat flour cumin seeds, clarified butter, carom seeds, turmeric powder, salt,chilli flakes and moringa powder and mix it well.
  2. Make a dough with little water, keep it aside for 30 mins. 
  3. divide the dough into balls and roll out small puris out of them.
  4. Heat oil in a medium flame to deep fry Puri.
  5. Serve hot Puri with aloo tamatar sabji.
