Moringa Paneer Curry

Moringa Paneer Curry is Really Healthy and easy to cook , A healthy paneer curry is prepared from the thick paste of Drumstick leaves with some spices. 

Moringa leaves contain about 30 antioxidants that promote healthy skin. Moringa leaves contain niazimicin, which suppresses the development of cancer cells. Moringa leaves also contains calcium and phosphorous, which help keep bones healthy and strong. Moringa leaves detoxify and cleanse your body.

Ingredients

  • For Making Green paste:
  • Drumstick leaves-1/2cup
  • Coconut piecies-1/4 cup
  • Mace -a small piece
  • Cinnamon -a small piece
  • Green cardamom-3-4
  • Garlic cloves- 6-7
  • Green chilies-1-2
  • Fennel seed-1/2 tbsp
  • Onion -1 sliced medium
  • Peppercorns 6-7
 
Others:
  • Oil-2 tablespoons
  • Onion-1 medium, sliced
  • Paneer- 2 cup cube
  • Mustard seed-1 tsp
  • Tomato- 1puree
  • water-1 cup
  • Salt as per taste
  • Coriander powder-1 tsp
  • Sugar/jagarry 1/2 tbs
  • Turmeric powder-1/2tbs
 
 

Instructions

  • For Making Moringa Paneer Curry
  1. Take all ingredients of “for Green paste list” and Blend to smooth paste without adding any water. keep aside.
  2. Now in a large kadai heat oil, add mustard seed.
  3. When mustard seeds crackle ,add onion and saute till light pink color.
  4. Then add green paste ,fry till its raw smell disappear.(i used less oil, so when masala burnt add 1tbs water, to avoid burning of masala.)
  5. Then add tomato puree and fry for 2 min. 
  6. Add coriander powder, salt, jagarry /sugar mix properly.
  7. Mean while roast the paneer to golden brown with little oil and turmeric powder and keep aside.
  8. Add the roasted paneer into the pan, mix well.
  9. Then add 1/2 cup water and salt. simmer for 5 minutes or till paneer absorbs flavour.
  10. Finally, serve Moringa leaves paneer Gravy with roti / naan, rice.
 
Note:
1. Use of jagarry / sugar helps to disappear the bitter taste of drumstick leaves.
2. Fry the green paste till its raw smell disappear, neither you cant eat with its raw smell.
