Moringa Masala Buttermilk

Moringa Masala Buttermilk

Moringa Masala Buttermilk is easy to make and you can add and remove ingredients of your choice. I like to add Moringa powder as it is supposed to be a nutrient-packed. Moringa is good for diabetics, cardiovascular function and even for the brain, it protects the liver, reduces inflammation and is good for many other ailments.

Ingredients

  • 1 cups yoghurt
  • 1/2 tsp fresh cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp. fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 tsp black rock salt/Kala namak
  • 1 tbsp. fresh coriander leaves
  • Pinch of ordinary salt optional
  • 1 tsp moringa leaf powder
  • ½ tsp fresh coriander leaves
  • 3/4 tsp mint leaves
  • ½ tsp curry leaves
  • 2 glasses of chilled water
  • Ice cubes optional

Instructions

  1. Firstly, in a hand-mixer jar add curry leaves, mint leaves, coriander leaves, moringa powder and black salt and blitz it.
  2. Next, add the dahi or yoghurt and blend well.
  3. Now, add chilled water and blend till you get a homogenous drink.
  4. Add ice cubes and churn to get thick frothy buttermilk.
  5. Finally, pour the Moringa Masala buttermilk into a tall glass and sprinkle the cumin powder on top.
  6. All the flavours blend well with each other and give a very cooling feeling to parched throats in summer.
  7. Serve Moringa Masala Buttermilk chilled and store it in the fridge for refills during the day.
