Moringa dhokla

Ingredients

For Moringa dhokla

  • 1 cup Rava
  • 1 cup Besan
  • 1 cup Curd
  • 2 tbsp Moringa powder
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Eno fruit salt
  • For Tempering:
  • 1 tsp Rai/black mustard seeds
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 5-6 Green chillies
  • 1/2 cup Water
 
Instructions for preparing Moringa dhokla
  1. Take a large bowl combine rava, besan,moringa powder, curd, lemon juice, salt, sugar and one tbsp oil and one cup of water.
  2. Keep aside for 15 mins.
  3. Add eno fruit, salt in the dhokla batter and pour the batter into the plate and steam for 10 mins.
  4. Heat oil in a pan, add rai/black mustard seeds. Once it gets crackled and then add the sesame seeds green chilli and half cup of water.
  5. Pour it over the dhokla and cut in with small pieces.
  6. Enjoy dhokla with tomato sauce.
