- Take a mixing bowl and add all ingredients except water, one by one – besan flour, grated veggies, moringa leaves, green chili paste, finely chopped ginger, carom seeds, salt, black salt, turmeric powder, and water.
- Mix everything very well and make sure that there are no lumps.
- Mixing with a whisk will ease the job and make the batter lump-free.
- The batter should be of flowing consistency.
- Heat a flat skillet (I use cast iron dosa pan) and once it is heated well, add tsp of oil.
- Take one or two ladles full of batter and pour it on the hot pan.
- You can spread the batter according to your preference.
- Some like thick pancakes, some like this.
- We generally make them thin so that they can turn crispy.
- Let it cook for 2 minutes and then flip the cheela using spatula.
- Cook the other side also for 2 to 3 minutes on medium flame so that cheela gets cooked properly from inside.
- Repeat the same until you finish all the batter.
Relax & Enjoy !
